biography

Jason Zimmerman (b.1978, Lancaster, PA), a resident of Portland Oregon, is regularly featured in one-person and group exhibitions nationally, including past venues such as Scope Art Fair, Miami, and the UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles. He is represented by Civilian Art Projects in Washington DC, where he recently mounted Feel better, longer, his fourth solo project since completing his BFA (Corcoran College of Art + Design, 2003). Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Fine Art, with an emphasis in Socially Based Practice lead by artist Harrell Fletcher, at Portland State University.
